Kevin NOLAN

He's already the DRESSING ROOM MANAGER, so wouldn't be much of a shift for him.

Im happy with the situation at the moment and with more good players next season we can move on even more. Im not sure any manager will please everyone on here.

Re: If Allarydce left for Villa?
Silly thread really, the Angels have already told us that no other manager of any quality would be interested in picking up one of the biggest wages in world football, live in London and take a team to the Olympic stadium and compete in the premier league.

Poor old little old West Ham, a really unattractive option.

I think that is how the BFS propaganda goes.

That's not QUESTION, other threads may have asked this.
It's hypothetical, what do we have in place should it happen.

Angels? I thought we had discussed that there was no such group??

You are like Sam in a way as just when people think you can't get any more arrogant you go and trump yourself. Except the difference is with you its not arrogance its being pathetic.

Fatty don't want the villa job he would much rather stay with us for a few years then get the England job but if he was tempted then it's Slaven bilic for me

RM10 10:22 Thu Feb 12
Re: If Allarydce left for Villa?
Bilic is mad, owners wont take him on.

Re: If Allarydce left for Villa?
MacDonald (given his managerial ambitions), Steve Potts or Kevin Nolan would be put in charge until end of the season is my guess.

Couldn't see Allardyce swapping his Docklands apartment lifestyle managing a club on the up, for a return to deepest Dudleyband a miserable relegation battle though.

Not unless there was serious wedge on a long term contract involved. And Lerner doesn't seem the type for that.

If I was a betting man, my money would be on him trying for Klinnsman given his Septic connections, or going for a cheap out-of-work option...Sherwood, Curbishley, etc.

He's missed the boat really....if he'd done this a short while back Pulis was his man.

Re: If Allarydce left for Villa?
i cant see fatty going to Villa, but i can see him heading to QPR or Leicester (when they get rid).
his contract is running down, an offer of a 2 or 3 year deal is financial security for him.

Re: If Allarydce left for Villa?
He will use the Villa job as a bargaining tool for another 2 years here. Our owners will fall for it hook line and sinker.

can you imagine!!??

i give it a couple of weeks until he starts talking down next season and how hard it will be to improve upon this season.

Nicey is a confidence "player," we are going through a tough patch and the moaners are out again in full force, so Nicey has the support and confidence he needs to bring it out again.

No uncommon behaviour - giving it large when you have a group with you, falling suspectly silent when you don't.
